The next time Windfall Jac takes the stage, it will do so as member of the Iowa Rock-‘n’-Roll Music Association Hall of Fame (IRRMAHOF).
The group is set to perform during the Induction Spectacular Concert between 6:30 p.m. and midnight on Sunday, Sept. 6, in Arnolds Park a few hours after being inducted.
Windfall Jac’s humble roots began 40 years ago in the summer of 1975. While still in high school, Kent Moore of Elgin was looking for a band to play with. The 16-year-old auditioned and played one gig with another band named Albany Bridge before fitting in with two brothers, Mark and Tom Stahr, and another guitar player from Albany Bridge, Dave Albert. Other band members over the years included Marc Albert (Dave Albert’s brother), Kevin Samek, Rex Mulvaney and Jesse Bryan.
