Crown Club selects Ossian Fest theme

Ossian Fest is set for Saturday, Aug. 10, a new day of the week for the Fest. An important part of the Fest is the Grand Parade held on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. This is one of the premier parades in northeast Iowa.

This year’s theme is “Ossian Fest Celebrates Toys and Games.” It’s a great theme for organizations or businesses to use for designing a float. Area businesses, families, or nonprofit organizations are asked to consider having a parade entry.

The Ossian Crown Club is accepting parade donations for some of the special floats and entries that are part of this great parade for those unable to partake in the parade activities.

The organization will also be asking for volunteers to help with some of the Ossian Fest activities that weekend, as well. The public is asked at contact any Ossian Crown Club member to offer assistance with the annual event.
