Flu shot clinics scheduled

Area flu clinics will be available on the following dates at these sites:

Thursday, Sept. 19 – Elgin: Veterans Memorial, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 20 – Oelwein: Senior Dining Center, 10-11:30 a.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 25 – Waucoma: Community Center, 10-11 a.m.

St. Lucas: Community Center, noon-1 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 26 – Hawkeye: Community Hall, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 15 – Maynard: Community Center, noon-1 p.m.

A flu shot is recommended for anyone over the age of 6 months. Only one flu shot is needed this year; it will last for an entire year.

Flu shots are $30 each, unless covered by Medicare.
