SODA Basket Auction April 9

Students OK Without Drugs and Alcohol (SODA) will host its 12^th Annual Basket Auction on Wednesday, April 9, in the Valley Elementary/North Fayette Valley Middle School multipurpose room.

The doors open at 5 p.m., and the evening will include T.J.’s pizza, a live auction beginning at 5:30, a silent auction running from 5 to 6:45, a presentation by middle school SODA members who trained for Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU), and an overview of SODA and Valley Community Coalition (VCC).

The activities will come to a close at 7 p.m.

Funds raised during the event help pay for the annual SODA scholarship and expenses related to the organization’s various trips and activities.

Those interested in donating a basket or any other item for the auction can do so by dropping their donations off at the VCC Youth Center in Elgin by appointment, at NFV High School in West Union, or at NFV Middle School in Elgin.
