The North Fayette Valley baseball team won a non-conference game last week and split double headers against a pair of UIC contenders.

Monday in Jackson Junction, the TigerHawks split with Turkey Valley, winning, 3-2, before falling, 6-5. Wednesday, NFV was in Delhi clubbing out a 15-0 victory over Maq. Valley.

The TigerHawks opened the home season Thursday against Clayton Ridge. NFV won the opener, 9-8, but lost the nightcap, 14-3.
