Ryan Elliott

Ryan Francis Elliott died suddenly at his Des Moines home on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014. He was born December 26, 1983 in Ames, Iowa to Teresa and Loren Elliott.

Ryan was talented and gifted from an early age. Milestones include being co-valedictorian of his Solon High School class, honors program at Central College, and passing the CPA exam on his first attempt. Just this summer Ryan completed his MBA program. He was most recently an auditor at Principal Financial. And as the owner of Des Moines Accounting Pro, his solopreneurship was starting to flourish. 

Ryan was always up to date with the digital world and was always ready to offer an opinion on the latest. He was an accomplished musician, enjoyed cooking and a good cup of coffee. Ryan rarely missed a family gathering. 

Ryan was admired and will be missed by his partner, Nathan Wagner; his parents; Charlie, his companion since puppyhood; his siblings, Brandon (Lauryn) and Caitlin (Brian); his grandparents Marion and Frances Elliott and Donna Thomason; "Grandma Great" Norma McKee; great aunt Janet; aunts and uncles, Eric Thomason, Kathy Miller Charla Elliott, Lyndon (Lolita) Elliott, Lance (Sara) Elliott and Carrie (Brian) Stockman; along with many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Thomason and great-grandfather, Donald McKee. 

Memorial contributions in Ryan's name can be made to Iowa Voters for Companion Animals. 

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Iles Dunn's Chapel, 2121 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 7 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at a later date in Montezuma near his family.
