Back-to-School Night

South Winn Elementary and Middle School teachers, staff and administrators will have a Back-to-School Open House for students and parents from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the elementary.

Students in PK through fifth grade will be able to meet their teachers, bring in all labeled school supplies, and locate their desks/lockers before the first day officially begins. All class lists will be posted at registration.

Students in fifth through eighth grade may attend. Fifth-grade students will be able to pick up their laptops from their first period classrooms. All middle school students will report to their homerooms to receive theirs.

Freshman orientation

Incoming freshman are invited to a Before-School Orientation at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18.

Students will have the opportunity meet their teachers, review specific handbook rules, and learn about the laptop initiative and responsibilities.
