South Winn First LEGO League team goes to state

The South Winneshiek First LEGO League team participated in the State LEGO League competition on the Iowa State University campus Saturday, bringing home a first-place trophy for “Innovation” and an 11^th-place finish in the “Robotics” category. The competition, which featured 72 teams from across the state, required teamwork and cooperation from each team. South Winneshiek’s “Warrior Robotics” team, surrounding the ISU Cy mascot, includes (clockwise from left) Ethan Luzum, Jacob Carnesi, Carter Meyer, Henry Castro, and Hannah Franzen.
