James Edward Leibold

James Edward Leibold passed away July 3, 2015, in Eagan, Minn., from cancer.

Jim was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Ossian to Leo and Charlotte Leibold.

He obtained his education at St. Francis DeSales School in Ossian and graduated in 1962. He went to Loras College for one year before moving to Long Beach, Calif., and later to Joshua Tree, Calif.

From 1990 to 2000, Jim owned a meat locker plant called Lemola Meats in Paulsbo, Wash.

In 2000, he moved back to Joshua Tree, where he worked as a transportation security officer in Palm Springs, Calif., retiring in 2012.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Leslie; his son, Chris (Kate) Leibold of Paulsbo, Wash.; daughters Sarah (Matt) Petrone of Eagan, Minn., and Michelle (Tom) Bianco of Joshua Tree, Calif.; grandchildren Riley and Paiton Leibold and Ashley and Thomas Bianco; sister Jeanette (Jim) Bradwell of Bremerton, Wash.; brothers Dick (Sue) Leibold of Ossian and Ron Leibold of Bremerton, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
