Majella Koudelka
Majella Koudelka of New Hampton, formerly of Little Turkey, will celebrate her 100th birthday on Sunday, Sept. 6, with an open house for family and friends.
The celebration will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 pm at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center, located at 703 South Fourth Avenue.
Majella was born Sept. 6, 1915, on a farm near Protivin.
Her husband, James Koudelka, is deceased.
Majella is the mother of two daughters, Shirley (Jack) Sabelka of Little Turkey and Jane (Don) Bruch of Emmetsburg. She also has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
