TigerHawk Softball Classic this weekend

The softball diamonds at the West Union Rec Complex and the North Fayette Valley softball field will be busy this weekend as the 2016 TigerHawk Softball Classic takes place Friday and Saturday, June 3-4.

Fourteen teams will join North Fayette Valley in the Classic. Each team will play two games a day against comparable teams from outside its own respective conference.

Friday’s games start at 10 a.m., and the final contests will begin at 3:30 p.m. The TigerHawks will play on their home diamond at noon and 3:30 p.m. against AGWSR and Monticello, respectively.

Saturday, the games will go from 9 a.m. through games starting at 2:30 p.m. NFV will face Beckman at 9 a.m. and Union (LPC) at 2:30 p.m.; both games will be on the NFV softball field.

Admission is $5 for students and adults, with no charge for preschool children.

A concession stand will be open all day.
