Maynard Community Library breaks ground

Chad Heim Excavating and Trucking broke ground on the new Maynard Community Library Monday morning, Oct. 17. Members from the Maynard community in attendance were (front, l-r) Mayor Dan Howard; Lezlie Barry, Maynard library director; Ann Jens, Library Board president; Lois Erickson, Library Board treasurer; and Kelly Beacom, Maynard City Council member; (back) Brian Stark, Martin-Gardner architect; Judy Hoeger, Maynard library assistant; Lorraine Eldridge, Library Board member; Stacy Kuennen, Library Board member; and Tim Corcoran, Steege Construction contractor.
