North Fayette Valley opened the 2017 girls’ indoor track season with a fine showing in the Wartburg Indoor Meet in Waverly that featured over 25 teams.

The TigerHawks brought home a pair of gold medals, one silver and two bronze medals. 

Marin Ehler and Macy Niewoehner won the shot and 1600, respectively. The 4x400 of Macy and Megan Niewoehner, Ryin Lehmann, and Hannah Van Hefte won the silver medal for NFV. Megan Niewoehner claimed third in the 400 and combined with Macy, Lehmann and Van Hefte to claim third in the 4x800.
