Bobbi Ney and Kevin Vierow were married Saturday, Sept. 1, at Stavanger Lutheran Church, rural Ossian. The Rt. Rev. Terry Landsgaard officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Rosie Ney of West Union and Rick and Kathy Vierow of Fayette.

Wearing a long, sleeveless, trumpet-style ivory gown featuring a beaded bodice and lace overlay, the bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She carried a bouquet of burgundy and deep orange flowers accented with greenery.

Attending her as the matron of honor was her friend Whitney Wells of Waverly. Bridesmaids were Randee Winter, friend of the bride, of Waucoma; Kariann Elsbernd, cousin of the bride, of Elgin; and Molly Vierow, sister of the groom, of Fayette.

The flower girl was Zoey Gerleman.

Scott Vierow of Roland did the honors as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jake Greco of Fayette and Zane Bodensteiner of Marshalltown, friends of the groom; and Darin Ney, brother of the bride, of West Union.

Mason Ney was the ring bearer.

The bride’s personal attendant was Macie Njus.

Cody Hageman, Tyler Egeland and Andy Rodden ushered the guests.

At the guest book were Emma Ney, Madyson Ney, and Elizabeth Hageman.  

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Festina Community Center in Festina.

The bride graduated from North Fayette High School in 2012 and from Upper Iowa University in 2016. She is currently employed as a certified public accountant at Hacker, Nelson & Co., P.C. in Decorah.

The groom is also a 2012 graduate of North Fayette High School, and he graduated from Iowa State University in 2016. He is a loan officer at Northeast Security Bank.

The couple reside in rural Ossian.
