Area Easter egg hunts

With Easter only a few days away, the time for fun and exciting Easter egg hunts has arrived. 

Details for local Easter celebrations are as follows:

Ossian

Children in second grade and under are invited to the Ossian Crown Club’s annual Easter egg hunt at Ossian Senior Hospice.

The event will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20. The Easter Bunny will be on hand as well.

Calmar

The Calmar Community Club Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, April 20, for children ages 0-10. The Easter Bunny will be available starting at 11:15 a.m. with all activities scheduled to take place at the South Winneshiek Athletic Complex in Calmar.

There will be three different age groups with nearly 1,600 eggs available for the hunt.

This year, there will be full-sized candy bars available for children that take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
