Clermont’s Community BBQ in the Park will feature the sounds of Steve Schroeder, Monday, July 19, starting at 4:30 p.m., at Clermont City Park.

Schroeder, a native of West Union, was the opening act for Randy Houser when he performed at last year’s Fayette County Fair. Schroeder lives in La Crosse now. He’s a high school P.E. teacher and has been performing for about three years, and also writes his own songs. 

“I really never thought I would be doing this, but it’s definitely one of my passions now,” he related.

The event will also have food of course; brats, burgers, chips and bars. Serving will end at 7 p.m. It is a freewill donation. All proceeds will benefit the Clermon Community Club for events throughout the year.

There will be a raffle drawing, silent auction, kids’ inflatables, and kids’ water balloon fights.

A rain date has been set for Monday, July 26.
