West Union’s Roman Yasinovskyy (right) and wife Nataliya (left), along with youngest children Julia and Andrew, have spent the last several weeks worrying about their family and friends back in their home country of Ukraine. “To be honest, no one really knows what’s going to happen next,” opened Ukrainian native Roman Yasinovskyy, who along with wife Nataliya and children, Mariya, Julia, and Andrew now live in West Union. “We can’t stop thinking about our family and friends back in Ukraine. Even though we’re not there anymore or directly involved, all of our worlds stopped on February 24-th when Russian troops began invading our home country.”
