Ehler breaks school record  in shot

Monday, April 24, at the meet hosted by Wapsie Valley in Oelwein, Marin Ehler broke her own school record in the shot. The junior’s throw of 42’8” broke her own record set just a few meets before.

As a team, the TigerHawks finished second behind Clarksville. NFV edged A-P for second by just four points. With the Falcons’ 4x100 favored to win, the TigerHawks had to get points in the final two events. That happened when Kaylin Muggler finished fifth in the 3000 to give her team two big points. Then, the 4x100 added four more points with its fourth-place finish, while A-P only gained a point. That was enough to give NFV the silver medal.
