Longtime St. Lucas resident Frieda (Bodensteiner) Mihm, currently of West Union, is observing her 90^th birthday today (Wednesday, March 15).

An open house will be held in her honor on Sunday, March 26. 

The celebration will begin following Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church in St. Lucas and continue until 2 p.m.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The family requests no gifts, please, just your presence.

Fern Kleppe will be celebrating her 90^th birthday on Sunday, March 5. 

Born in rural Clayton County on March 5, 1927, she has been a lifetime resident of the Elgin area.

Kent Schuchmann and Patricia Conklin were married Feb. 26, 1967, at United Methodist Church in Alpha.

They are the parents of Todd (Kristin) Schuchmann of North Port, Fla., and Chad (Amber) Schuchmann of Charlotte, N.C. Their family also includes eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
