Boys drop three baseball games

It was a tough week for NFV baseball, dropping three games.
Tuesday, the TigerHawks faced South Winn, fourth-ranked in Class 1A. The game in Calmar was never close as the Warriors hit NFV with a four-run first on the way to an 11-0 win.
Kale Rodgers single was the only hit for NFV. Meanwhile, SW battered three TigerHawk pitchers for nine hits and nine earned runs.
Wednesday’s gameagainst MFL/MM was set for West Union but heavy afternoon rains caused the contest to be moved to Monona.
The Bulldogs swept NFV, 15-3 and 4-2.
